Let us "Shine" Jesus

Sequoia shares the vision of "Shine". Each ministry at Sequoia will "let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)

Sequoia is a Bible believing Church

We at Sequoia believe there is only One living and true God. He is the God of the universe and has always existed. We worship Him on Sundays at 10 AM as a congregation.  We also worship Him in our lives. As members of a local church body we have committed ourselves to Jesus Christ and covenant together to live as Christians should. We care about the world because He cares about the World. We are committed to people here and around the world. Click on Missions to see what we are doing to advance the Gospel at home and abroad. It is already November!

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a great time for Sequoia to take time to thank the Lord for the blessings He has given our people. We do this in a very pro active way. Sequoia works closely with Love, Inc and other groups in Manteca to provide food for those who are going through a hard time. The boy scouts make a major effort to "scout for food" to replenish our pantry. The deacons work with local food outlets to collect food to give "thanksgiving baskets" to those in the church who need a little extra for a great Thanksgiving Day.
