Dr. Mark K. Mahaffie has been a pastor at Sequoia since 1991. He has been married to Lanell Mahaffie since 1975. They have 2 adult children, Dan Mahaffie and Leisa Moore. They have 5 grandchildren.
Mark has a Bachelors degree from California Baptist College in Riverside, California. He has a Masters degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California, and a Doctor of Worship Studies degree from the Institute of Worship Studies in Orange Park, Florida.

Dan Mahaffie is associate pastor. Dan serves Sequoia primarily in the areas of youth and missions. He is leading Sequoia in reaching an unreached people group in Africa. He grew up at Sequoia Heights, but came as a full time pastor in 2009. He has a Bachelors degree from California Baptist University and a Masters of Divinity degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, California. He has been married to Carrie Mahaffie since 2005. They have 3 children: Taylor, Cameron and Kyle.

Nancy Jones is Administrative Assistant. She has been at Sequoia since 1996. She is married to one of the deacons, Don Jones. She has one daughter, Penny, and 3 grandsons; John, Jared, and Jeremy.

Carol Flores has been with Sequoia as the financial secretary since 1993. She is married to Ray Flores who is a deacon at Sequoia. They have 4 grown boys and 7 grandchildren.

Jennifer Corder has been staff assistant at Sequoia since 2002. She and her husband David have 3 children, Jessica, Samantha, and David.
