Adult Bible Study on Sunday morning meets from 8:45 to 9:45 AM in the Family Life Center. These are the current classes and teachers. We hope you find a class that is right for you.
Plese note: Beginning September 19, Sunday School will begin at 9:45 AM for everyone. We will begin two church services this day, 8:15 & 11:00 AM.
Explore the Bible Series
Explore the Bible uses a balanced, systematic approach to teach adults God’s Word. During our current eight-year plan, Sunday School members will study every book of the Bible, alternating between the Old and New Testaments. The lessons highlight major themes and truths in weekly Scripture passages, encouraging personal study and life application. (from www.sbc.net)

This Quarter’s theme is “The Case for Hope”
Relevant for the “Empty Nest” Adults
This Bible study resource equips empty nesters to put into practice biblical values at a time when fresh goals are being set for the exciting next stage of life.
Through both to-the-point devotionals and comprehensive commentary, this resource helps adults discover where God is calling. Included are:
- Personal Bible study as well as in-class sessions
- Daily devotions that prepare adults to study and live the passage

This class is taught by Donnie and Juanita Land. They write most of their own curriculumm and it is all based on the Scriptures.
The current study is The Names of Christ. They study a different Name for our Lord every week.
They currently meet in the Sanctuary, but will be moving to the Family Life Center.
Donnie & Juanita meet in the Sancutary, Mark’s class meets in Room 410 of the Family Life Center.

Wes and Jeff are leading this class through a study of The Book of Proverbs.
They meet in Room 425 in the Family Life Center.
Teacher: Bobby Spiers
Bobby leads young adults, singles and married couples, in studies of the Scriptures that are relevant to their place in time and the Church. They are currently studying the Book of Revelation. Their class meets in the Children’s Church area.
Teacher: Bill Gaines
Bill is leading this class through a study of Luke-Acts.
The theme of the study is “A Hebrew Gospel – A Gentile’s Grace”.
Bill says to keep your brain in gear and just be prepared for anything!
